Dear SEMICON Taiwan 2012 Exhibitor,

On behalf of the SEMI and the entire SEMICON Taiwan team, we thank you for exhibiting at SEMICON® Taiwan 2012.  This year we’re anticipating another outstanding show and we appreciate your participation on the show floor.  As a 2012 exhibitor, you are entitled to choose your 2013 booth space during this year's show. This letter contains all the information you need to plan and participate in the SEMICON Taiwan 2013 Onsite Booth Assigning process.

SEMICON Taiwan is a vital part of the microelectronics industry in this region. As the microelectronic market in Taiwan expands, SEMICON Taiwan exhibition space needs to be increased.  Thus, SEMICON Taiwan 2012 for the first time moved to the Taipei Nankang Hall to host both the exhibits and programs under one roof, to accommodate the growth of the show and offer better services (including meeting room and hospitality suite options) to more exhibitors.

With new manufacturing technologies such as 450mm in development and with the continued growth of emerging and adjacent microelectronics markets (including high-brightness LEDs,  MEMS, 3D IC, and plastic electronics), the 2013 show is already shaping up to be an important year for the global microelectronics supply chain. Currently, Taiwan is the world’s largest manufacturing region for LEDs, with an expected 25% of the total manufacturing fabs globally in 2012.  In addition, the region is expected to remain as one of the largest markets for equipment and materials spending in both 2012 and 2013. Featured pavilions have been so successful for exhibitors and visitors alike that each year we’ve added new ones to present the most current trends. Next year the show will host:

● LED Taiwan Exposition

● IC Design Pavilion

● MEMS Pavilion

● Green Management Pavilion/Gallery

● Secondary Market Pavilion

● Plastic Electronics Pavilion

These unique exhibit areas represent the hottest and most talked about technology in the industry.  We will also continue to have the Cross-strait Pavilion and other country pavilions to help companies leverage subsidies and/or support offered by the governments in other regions.

We are pleased to offer the Loyalty Program to our current exhibitors in appreciation of their long-term participation and support. If you expand your exhibit space for SEMICON Taiwan 2013, you will receive a 20% discount on each additional booth you book for next year’s show.

We respect your time and want to make your experience choosing booth space as quick and easy as possible.  To schedule the appropriate amount of time for each company, we would appreciate confirmation of your intent to participate in onsite space selection. Please take a few minutes to fill out the application form and return by August 27, 2012.

Thank you again for your support of SEMI and SEMICON Taiwan. We look forward to your participation and wish you continued success!
