  • Enabling Power and 5G RF-GaN Electronics through Innovative MOCVD Technologies

  • Emerging high frequency applications in power management and wireless communication are requiring improved power efficiencies (esp. at high frequencies), smaller form factor and lower cost compared to Si.  GaN is ideally suited for high frequency power management and RF applications (e.g. mmWave) due to its higher power capability relative to Si at higher frequencies. But producing these GaN devices in volume with the best performance and cost  requires new innovations in MOCVD technology  that delivers  superior film quality with high yield, low defectivity and high uptime. In this talk, we will discuss the innovative next generation MOCVD system and how it enables emerging mass devices.
