 Abstract:

  • The current UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) guidance document on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions was published in 2006. Since then there have been many changes, corrections and new science, so a refined document was mandated by the Task Force for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (TFI). Following 2 “Expert Meetings”, a group of Lead Authors was set-up and is currently working on the document, which is due for publication in 2019. This presentation looks at which areas are under consideration and what the implications for the semiconductor industry might be.
