Miyazaki, a prefecture known as the “Hinata (sunny side) of Japan”, is one of the prefectures with the largest numbers of clear days and daylight hours. Taking advantage of such blessings of sunlight, various agricultural products are produced in Miyazaki. In addition, because Miyazaki receives high precipitation, the bounty of quality water supports the industries of the prefecture.

In order to promote semiconductor-related industries in our prefecture, we are establishing a Miyazaki Human Resources Development Consortium for Semiconductor-related Industries. Bringing together industry, academic and government institutions, we are working to develop and retain human resources, to expand businesses, and to strengthen the supply chain of our semiconductor industry.
