Mr. Rehan Sheikh
Vice President, Global Silicon Chip Technology & Manufacturing, Google Cloud, Google Inc.
Rehan spent the majority of his IT career at Intel from 1997 until 2021, taking responsibility for leading silicon engineering and productisation as Intel’s Chief Test and Silicon Engineering Technologist. Sheikh led product segments that included 5G data centres, discrete graphics and Atom-based system-on-a-chip processors. In 2021, he left to become General Manager of the company’s Technology and Product Manufacturing Engineering at Microsoft, where he led company-wide silicon development efforts in several areas. In 2023, Rehan was promoted to Vice President of Silicon Manufacturing and Packaging Engineering at Microsoft, helping the launch of Maia 100 and Cobalt 100.
In December, 2024, Rehan joined Google Cloud as the Vice President, Global Silicon Chip Technology & Manufacturing to lead Google’s effort in the semiconductor supply chain.
