Mr. Angus Shih

Mr. Angus Shih is the Chairman and Founder of ORing Industrial Networking Corp., a company with over 20 years of deep expertise in industrial networking solutions. Under his leadership, ORing has become a key player in Industrial IoT, offering advanced technologies for smart manufacturing, transportation systems, and smart cities.

In recent years, Mr. Shih has placed strong emphasis on industrial cybersecurity. He led the development of the “Cybersecurity Trinity Defense System,” launched at the 2024 Taiwan CYBERSEC, and introduced an AI-driven Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) capable of detecting abnormal traffic and blocking threats in real time—significantly strengthening OT network protection. ORing's industrial wireless router has also received TAICS certification for IoT security, further underscoring the company’s commitment to secure industrial applications.

Beyond cybersecurity, Mr. Shih continues to drive ORing’s role in sustainable development, offering solutions for solar energy monitoring, biomass power, and energy storage. ORing also works with ITRI to support carbon verification and reduction efforts, helping clients move toward net-zero goals.
