Biography

Prof. Tzi-Dar Chiueh received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1983, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in 1989. Since 1989, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, where he is currently a Distinguished Professor. His research interests include IC design for digital communication systems and neural network technology development. Prof. Chiueh’s was a recipient of the Outstanding Research Award from 

the National Science Council, Taiwan, from 2004 to 2007. He is the NTU ASUS Chair Professor from 2025 to 2026. Prof. Chiueh is an IEEE Life Fellow.
