Mr. John Lin

John Lin is a seasoned professional with almost three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, and Industry Management and an EMBA from Chang Gung University.

Began his career at Nanya Technology Corporation, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a Department Manager. Led to the introduction of the first IBM SiView MES and significant improvements in production processes.

In 2003, joined Inotera Technology Corporation as a Senior Director, where he spearheaded numerous operational improvements and expansions, including the successful introduction of the 300mm IBM SiView Solution and the CHIPS productivity program.

Since 2016, has been with Micron Technology Taiwan, Inc., serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Director and Facilities Operation Director. Demostrated leadership has driven substantial advancements in manufacturing efficiency, sustainability, and safety, earning multiple awards for environmental protection and construction excellence.

The management philosophy is rooted in the principles of Trust, Tenacity, Teamwork, Transparency, and Communication (4T1C). His cross-cultural experiences with global companies have equipped him with diverse management skills, making him a respected leader in the industry.

Outside of work, is an avid sports enthusiast, having completed 100 marathons over nearly 10 years. He enjoys jogging, mountain climbing, listening to music, and reading books, which help him manage stress and foster continuous growth.
