This includes also a very careful balancing of preprocessed data at the edge to reduce computational effort while still providing sufficient quality and amount of data to centralized processing systems.

Dr. Stefan Joeres is Vice President for Business Development, Semiconductor Strategy, and Strategic Projects at Robert Bosch GmbH, a position he has held since 2014. Born in Mönchengladbach, Germany, he studied electrical engineering and information technology at RWTH Aachen University, earning his Dipl.-Ing. degree and completing his doctorate in 2008, specializing in system simulation for high-frequency circuits. With a robust background in RF-SoC verification and sigma-delta modulators, Dr. Joeres has authored multiple IEEE publications. He resides in the Stuttgart region, where he continues to drive innovation in the semiconductor industry both regional but also globally.
