Keynote: 2035: Human-Robot Coexistence in the Workplace
In just under a decade, we will likely be working side by side with humanoids, cobots, autonomous mobile robots and AI-enhanced machinery in our industrial workplaces. From the factory floor to the smart nursing facility, advancements in robotic intelligence supported by realtime sensors can help augment human staff and extend quality of service to areas difficult to manage for humans alone. This presentation will look at how AI software driving sensor hardware systems can help orchestrate robot fleets safely and reliably. Key concepts from state-of-the-art research will be shared from 4 converging areas of quantum computing, visual and non-visual multi-robotics, data governance and cyberphysical systems. We will also share how software-hardware virtualization platforms such as Renesas 365 can support end to end robotic system co-design and lifecycle management, both in the cloud and air-gapped on-premise.
Key Technologies Covered
- Agentic software development for robotics systems
- AI model optimization
- Air-gapped software system development
- Software-hardware robotic system co-design using virtualization
