THE ESSENTIAL CHEMISTRY OF CONSISTENCY Enabling reliable semiconductor manufacturing through purity, precision and supply security

下午 3:30 - 下午 3:50

As semiconductor manufacturing advances toward increasingly complex device architectures and shrinking process windows, the industry faces a new challenge: achieving consistent performance across production sites, batches, and generations of technology. Purity alone is no longer sufficient. Manufacturers require chemistry processes that deliver reproducible results worldwide, while ensuring supply security and operational reliability.

This presentation explores how consistency has become a new qualification criterion throughout the semiconductor value chain. Through examples from hydrogen peroxide and other solutions, attendees will gain insights into how Solvay's integrated approach, built on decades of expertise in Essential Chemistry, helps semiconductor manufacturers meet increasingly demanding requirements while supporting resilient supply chains and long-term sustainability objectives.

Key Technologies Covered

  • Ultra-high purity chemical processing
  • High-purity hydrogen peroxide for wafer cleaning & etching
  • Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) processes
  • Fluorine-based CVD chamber cleaning
  • Zero-GWP and low-carbon semiconductor process chemistries
  • Precision formulation and process consistency control
