陳中恝

Jerry holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He began his career in Silicon Valley in 1995 as an IC design engineer, working at leading technology companies including Intel, Lucent, Apple, and Procket Networks.

He later transitioned into technical marketing and business leadership roles, serving as Director of Marketing and Vice President of Marketing at Inphi/Marvell and Genesys Logic. His technical expertise spans CPU architecture, chipsets, high-speed SerDes, image processing, and CNN architecture.

In 2011, Jerry served as Business Unit Head at Genesys Logic, where he led the team in developing image-processing ICs and successfully secured design wins with Tier 1 customers, including Google. Under his leadership, product shipments exceeded one million units per month.

Jerry subsequently returned to Taiwan and founded Upbeat Technology. Since 2021, the company has raised more than US$20 million in funding and has developed ultra-low-power RISC-V SoCs and MEMS bone-conduction microphones. These products target applications including drones, robotic sensing, and consumer electronic devices. By 2026, Upbeat’s products had successfully entered Tier 1 customer programs in the United States and Japan.

Jerry holds more than ten patents and has presented technical papers at leading conferences, including ISSCC and IEEE MEMS.
